Two earthquakes measuring respectively 4.5 and 3.5 on the Richter scale have rocked Buru Island in Indonesia's Maluku province. Two persons were killed,one went missing and another was seriously injured in the quakes.A spokesman of the Ambon Geophysics Station, the quakes were most likely followed by a minor tsunami, Benny Sipolo was quoted by Antara news agency as saying. At least 117 houses on Buru Island were damaged, according to an official of Buru, Hasrui Soamole. Houses were damaged in Batu Jungku village, Waimorat, and Wailawa, while in Waimole village16 houses were seriously damaged.
