The widow of late Slobodan Milosevic - Mira Markovic - will be able to return to Serbia if his funeral is held in Belgrade.
This was made possible after a Serbian court lifted an arrest warrant against the former first lady of the ex-Yugoslav Republic.
Mira Markovic has been living in self-imposed exile in Russia, together with their son Marko, fearing arrest on fraud charges if she returns.
Yet Serbian President Boris Tadic stressed although the arrest warrant is postponed, charges could not be dropped altogether.
In a statement the court said Mira Markovic must surrender her passport on arrival, and appear before a judge in connection with the fraud charges on March 23.
The former Yugoslav leader's son is in The Hague to collect his body. He has accused Serbia of trying to block a Belgrade funeral.
Before leaving Moscow for the Netherlands, he said Belgrade authorities do not allow Milosevic's funera and want to avoid it.
