Bulgarian paranormal phenomenon Vera Kochovska was officially recognized by the President on Thursday.

Georgi Parvanov decorated the mystic with the President's medal of honour, an acknowledgment for Kochovska's supernatural powers and charity efforts.

The 61-year-old woman has been Bulgaria's most famed clairvoyant since sightless prophetess Vanga died in 1996.

Kochovska's paranormal powers reportedly occurred when she was 12. Back then Vera suffered severe injuries in a car accident, and was in a coma for two months. She also had to spend a whole year in a plaster bed because of the numerous fractures in her body.
