Three of the biggest names on Bulgaria's art scene were treated with high honour by the President on Wednesday.
Poetry masters Nedyalko Nedyalkov and Lyubomir Levtchev shared the memorable moment with theatre producer Alexander Morfov.
Levtchev was decorated with Stara Planina, the highest state honour, and Nedyalkov and Morfov received St. Kiril and Methodius for their works leaving a deep mark on the Bulgarian art life.
During the gala President Georgi Parvanov confessed that the awards were long overdue, for the three top names deserved high state appreciation long ago.
