Rositsa Belneyska, 18, and her sister Kristina, 15, who were raped and brutally killed last week, will be buried today in their home town of Pazardzhik.

The mutilated bodies of Rositsa and Kristina were found January 31 in the Gramadite area between the towns of Bratsigovo and Peshtera, 125 kilometers southeast from Sofia.

The girls were last seen last Friday evening going out of a disco club in Pazardzhik.

They were repeatedly sexually abused and then beaten to death with stones, it emerged after the autopsy.

According to unconfirmed reports police are working on a number of versions for the killings, but the version that the two teens have become victims of pimps is the main one. The head of the Pazardzhik police department neither confirmed, nor denied the reports.

The parents of the two sisters identified them on Thursday. Some 70 people have been questioned in connection to the case.

More than 120 police officers from three police department are involved in the investigation of the murder. Police officers, prosecutors, forensics and experts from Pazardzhik, Plovdiv and Sofia spent the night working on the case. Each detail from the investigation is being reported to the Interior Ministry.
