Huge crowds flocked to a Sofia booking office on Monday morning as ticket sales began for a Depeche Mode gig.

A SNA reporter said that many people were queuing at the National Palace of Culture ticket office, defying the blistering cold.

Organizers of the upcoming concert have promised to the first person who buys ticket to have a face-to-face meeting with the new wave stars.

Tickets cost between BGN 27.5 and BGN 55 (between EUR 14 and EUR 28).

Each person will be able to purchase no more than six tickets, to prevent market speculations afterwards.

Depeche Mode's show will take place on June 21 at Sofia's Locomotive Stadium.
