List of Srebrenica Soldiers Drawn
World | October 5, 2005, WednesdayThe Bosnian Serb government has compiled a list of nearly 20,000 Serb soldiers who operated in Srebrenica at the time of the 1995 massacre there. The secret list is part of an ongoing move by the international community to force the Bosnian Serb government to account for the war crimes committed at Srebrenica, a BBC correspondent said. According to the report, the list includes about 900 soldiers still working for the Bosnian Serb government, army or police. In 1995, more than 7,000 Muslim men and boys were massacred in a UN-protected enclave in Srebrenica.
