Bulgarian Kaloyan Mahlianov - Kotooshu suffered a second defeat at the the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament in Tokyo.
Just a day earlier Kotooshu registered his first defeat after making history with an impeccable record of twelve victories.
The young Bulgarian, 22, was defeated by the Japanese Kisenosato. No. 16 maegashira Kisenosato shoved Kotooshu out over the straw ridge at Ryogoku Kokugikan to improve to 11-3.
Kotooshu, who was bidding to become the first European wrestler to win a title, dropped to 12-2 and will have to wait for Sunday.
Kotooshu, who lost for the second straight day, will face ozeki Chiyotaikai on the final day.
