Upon his return from Singapore Ivan Slavkov said he was innocent.

On Thursday the International Olympic Committee voted 83-12 that Slavkov be expelled from the board because of "unethical behaviour".

Allegations in bidding corruption emerged after Slavkov was filmed by a BBC documentary while negotiating possible lobby involvement for the 2012 London Olympic bid.

I expected the support of some 10-20 people on the IOC board, Slavkov told journalists at the Sofia Airport. He added that the support of 12 members meets the reality and translates into good assessment for his work.

Ivan Slavkov promised to make public all documents over the scandalous case "to prove I am innocent."
