Coca Cola Buys 100% Bulgarian Mineral Water Bottler

Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S.A. announced the completion of its 100% acquisition of Bulgarian mineral water company Bankia.

The price of the purchase was not disclosed.

Under the agreement Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company becomes the owner of the production facilities located just outside the Bulgarian capital of Sofia and the natural mineral water brand Bankia.

The international giant confirmed its interest in stepping on Bulgaria's mineral water market at the beginning of April this year.

Coca-Cola HBC is one of the world's largest bottlers of products of The Coca-Cola Company and has operations in 26 countries.
