A man suspected of kidnapping, abusing and forcing women into prostitution has been arrested in Sofia, the police disclosed Friday. The 37-year-old had reportedly kidnapped a number of young women, most of them parentless. He is suspected of brutally assaulting many of the victims. Some of the women had been locked up in a cage with a dozen of pit bull dogs, policemen said. Suspected V.G. was the leader of his own prostitution network in Sofia, investigators believe. He was also probably trying to expand his gruesome business to Italy and France.
