Bulgaria named Thursday its ten footballers that have been chosen to compete for the Footballer of The Year 2004 prize.
Most of the nominees have had a year of international successes with Western European teams - like Dimitar Berbatov (Bayer Leverkusen), Valeri Bojinov (Lecce), Martin Petrov (Wolfsburg) and midfielder Stilian Petrov (Celtic).
The other names on the prestigious list are Vladimir Mantchev, Iliyan Stoyanov, Mariyan Hristov, Martin Kamburov, Radostin Kishishev and Chavdar Yankov.
