A Christmas Crafts Bazaar has opened doors in Sofia, bringing under the same roof 8,500 works by 145 craftsmen from across the country.

The event was organized to stimulate the development of Bulgarian crafts, and encourage taking on crafts as family business.

Guests to the bazaar will be able to find unique Christmas gifts made of wood, iron, hand-made textile pieces, ceramics and
Christmas tree accessories.

Bulgaria's Social Minister Hristina Hristova and Neil Buhne, UNDP Resident Representative in Bulgaria, opened the bazaar at Grand Hotel Sofia on Friday evening.
