The OSCE Chairmanship, currently held by Bulgaria, will have a special representative at the elections in Chechnya, due on Sunday.

Ambassador Ivan Naidenov, chief of OSCE Directorate with the Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry, left Friday to monitor the elections in Chechnya, Foreign Minister Solomon Passy broke the news during his Friday meeting with the ambassadors of European Union and NATO member countries.

The Bulgarian Chairmanship-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Bulgaria's suggestions for its development were discussed by Minister Solomon Passy and the ambassadors.

On behalf of their colleagues Hungary's Ambassador Bela Kolozsi and Spain's Ambassador Jose Angel Lopez Jorrin highly assessed Bulgaria's work as chairman of OSCE.
