Russia Eyes Sofia Subway Extension

Stoilov is in Moscow to meet the deputy mayor of the Russian capital, Info radio reported.
Sofia city authorities opened a tender last Friday to pick a supplier of six subway trains to cover the extension of the subway stretch scheduled for completion in 2007. Eligible bidders include Bulgarian and foreign companies that produce subway trains or their authorised representatives. The deadline was set for September 1.
