An ancient tomb with the bones of a Thracian leader has been uncovered in Bulgaria.

Archeologists came upon the brick-built burial chamber near the village of Oryahovitsa, east of the city of Stara Zagora.

Golden and silver pieces were found inside, together with the bones of a man and those of a horse. The tomb dates back to the fourth century BC, the head of the team, Georgi Kitov, told the state radio.

Experts suggested that the place has been ravaged several times already.
