Bulgaria Joins EU with National Development Plan
Politics | June 1, 2004, TuesdayA special forum dedicated to the plan opened doors to today. The main aim of the forum is to look into various scenarios for the macroeconomic situation in the country until 2006 and use them as a basis for planning the strategic goals of the national economy afterwards.
Finance Minister Milen Velchev explained that the aim of that plan would be to work out the main Bulgarian priorities, to reflect the national interests and pave the way for a good start of the country in united Europe.
The National Plan will be voted by the end of 2005 and its main task will be to establish a long term agenda for Bulgaria's further development.
