Rebel Cleric Warns US against Najaf Attack

The rebel cleric blamed the American soldiers for the clashes that broke out several days ago, which claimed the lives of five Iraqis and wounded another 20. Al-Sadr's aide announced that each enclosure placed by the Americans will be considered a provocation. The rebel cleric, who is believed to be in the city of Najaf, has reiterated threats to stage suicide attacks against occupation forces targets in Iraq should they enter the holy cities. The U.S. has called for the arrest of the militant cleric for inciting violence, and said its forces would hunt him down.
