Bulgaria Issues Tax-free Visas for 3 Countries

Russian, Ukrainian and Belorusian tourists will be able to get tax-free visas for Bulgaria until April 1, 2005.

They will have pay only EUR 20 for the visa papers, Bulgaria's government decided.

The move came after Bulgaria's Cabinet decided to boost the tourism sector that one of the fast developing in the country.

A total of 3, 531, 567 foreign tourist came to Bulgaria in 2003, which shows an increase of 18% as compared to 2002. Bulgaria's international tourism revenues have also gone up by 20%.
