There is still no information on the name of the boy that was elected to play the part of Viktor Krum in the next Harry Potter movie, Bulgarian 24 Hours daily wrote on Wednesday.

Late on February 24 it was announced that Bulgarian boy who is currently living in London was chosen to play Viktor Krum. The lucky winner in the competition studies in London and lives there with his parents.

There has been no information in the English press for that boy, the press attachй of the Bulgarian Embassy in London Elena Tsenova said cited by the newspaper.

24 Hours also contacted Leavesden Studio, owned by Warner Bros, that said that there is no data on whether a boy for the part of Viktor Krum has been chosen.

I am not aware of the reasons behind the decision to drop all the selected candidates from the casting in Sofia, producer Victor Bozhinov, who orchestrated the casting in the Bulgarian capital commented right after the decision of the English producers was revealed. The Bulgarian producer picked some 46 candidates whose taped appearances were sent to London by a jury.

Over 600 kids flocked to the first round of the casting that took place in Sofia on February 4 and 5. However, most of them didn't make it to the final stage. The ones selected were interviewed for a few minutes, their performances taped and sent to London.

JK Rowling put Bulgaria at centre stage of the fourth book after being inspired by the country's fourth place in the 1994 World Cup. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, magicians from all over the world take part in the Quidditch World Cup, and Krum leads the Bulgarians.

The shooting of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will start in April, its premiere is scheduled for 2005.
