Bulgaria Pulls out Iraq Staff over Safety Concerns

He insisted, however, that the move was temporary.
The two Bulgarian diplomatic representatives in Iraq, who arrived from Baghdad in Amman nearly a month ago, are already in Bulgaria.
Taking up a question Todorov pointed out that the decision for the diplomats' withdrawal has been made after as assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of their presence in Baghdad. Recent attacks against Baghdad hotels where foreign envoys were accommodated were pointed out as one of the reasons for Bulgaria's decision.
