Oldest Ballot in Bulgaria Goes on Display

A bronze bar from the 4th century AD is the oldest exhibit from the display of the History Museum in Sofia dedicated to elections through the years. The bar comes from Roman times and researches believe it was used as a ballot in the election of a city administration. The antique was discovered during excavations in southern Bulgaria.
