Series of Earthquakes Shook Bulgaria

The earthquakes shook worst Bulgaria's southeastern region and its main city Kardzhali. Many people there spent the night outside their homes scared out by the recurrent quivers.
The epicentre was in neighbouring Turkey. The earthquake did not injure people or cause damages in Bulgaria.
The first and most powerful tremor occurred at 10:13 pm local time on Sunday and had its heart about 350 kilometres southeast of Sofia.
The last quake hit at noon at about 350 kilometres from Bulgaria's capital. It measured 3.5 on the Richter scale but was barely felt in Bulgaria.
Experts say that over the next ten days there may be several aftershocks.
