Light Quake Shook Southern Bulgaria

An earthquake with magnitude of 2,3 on the Richter scale was registered in the Bulgarian municipality of Gotse Delchev minutes after 5 am on Thursday morning. The epicentre of the quake was on the territory of Bulgaria, some 130 kilometres south of Sofia.

The quake was felt in villages of Musomishta, the municipality of Gotse Delchev, Southern Bulgaria. That was announced by the seismological institute with the Bulgarian Academy of Science and state agency Civil Defense.

No damages or victims have been reported.
