Bulgaria: Bulgaria’s Ivet lalova-Collio Comes 7th in 200m World Final

Bulgaria’s Ivet lalova-Collio finished 7th in the women’s 200m finals at the Beijing 2015 IAAF World Athletics Championships on Friday.

Lalova-Collio covered the distance in 22.41 seconds, ahead of Jamaica’s Sherone Simpson (22.50) and behind Jeneba Tarmoh of the USA (22.31). The Bulgarian athlete's time was 0.09 seconds slower than her result in Thursday’s semi-finals.

Dafne Schippers won world gold in 200m, clocking 21.63 seconds, setting championship and European records. Jamaicans Elaine Thompson (21.66) and and Veronica Campbell-Brown (21.97) won silver and gold, respectively.
