Bulgaria: Czech Rep., Slovakia, Hungary Investigate Bomb Incident on Bulgarian Bus

The person who placed the bomb in the bus travelling from Prague to Varna was either a Czech or Slovakian citizen. The statement was made by manager of the transportation company Omega Group, Dragomir Petkov in an interview for bTV.

''We were lucky because the explosive was in a container that tipped over and spilled,'' said Petkov, explaining that the explosive was self-made but could have caused great damages.

The passenger who placed the bomb had a ticket from Prague to Bratislava, but got off in Brno and never came back to the bus.

All institutions in the Czech republic, Slovakia and Hungary have employed their efforts on the case and took fingerprints from the bus and the petrol container.

Meanwhile, all thirty four passengers on the bus arrived home safely early Monday morning.

The bomb was found in a bus full of Bulgarian passengers. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in Budapest, Hungary.
