Islamic State Threatens Champions League Quarter-Finals with Terrorist Attacks
The terrorist group known as the "Islamic State" has issued a threat against the upcoming quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Bulgaria's Ludogorets lost to FC Basel in its second Champions League match against the team played in Switzerland.
The game hosted by the Swiss players followed a historic 1:0 defeat of Ludogorets over Basel in Sofia on October 22.
On November 4 however the Bulgarian team played its most unconvincing match, with the first goals hitting its door after Cosmin Moti, already a legend in Ludogorets, was forced to leave the field due to a severe injury.
For Ludogorets, the second place in the group chart was at stake, since it would allow them to advance further in the Champions league.
But the "eagles" are still considered to have some prospect of success within the group.
