The website of Bulgaria's Ministry of Culture has been subject to a hacking attack.
As of 10:35 EEST (08:35 GMT), a message from the Team Dz Algeria Hackers, who claim to be the perpetrators, appears on the homepage calling for the "freedom for Palestine and All Muslims'.
"Hacking is not just a crime... Hacking is lifestyle," their text also reads.
The attack was carried out because the site has virtually no protection, according to the message.
The team has also left its Facebook profile saying it is available for feedback.
The picture and message were both removed at 11:00, with the website failing to load afterwards.
Ministry officials have already informed the State Agency for National Security (DANS) on the incident, Interim Deputy Culture Minister Boil Banev was quoted by Dariknews.bg as saying.
It will now be up to DANS to establish the hackers' identity.
