Bulgarian Tennis Player Grigor Dimitrov Reached The Semifinals In Rotterdam
Grigor Dimitrov managed to secure a spot in the semifinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam
Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov won the Aegon Queen’s Championship beating Feliciano Lopez 6:7, 7:6, 7:6 in a dramatic final.
Dimitrov lost the first set tie break by 10-8 points, but dominated in the second set tie break, winning 7-1.
The third set provided more twists and turns. The Bulgarian fell behind a break in the middle, but quickly managed to come back and equalize for 4:4. After saving a match ball, he was able to take things into a third tie break, which he won 8:6.
With its 2 hours and 31 minutes, this became the longest final in the history of the tournament at Queen's Club in London.
This is Dimitrov’s fourth ATP title, and the first one on grass courts, which should make him very confident ahead of the Wimbledon Grand Slam.
