A total of 37% of Bulgarians are disappointed with the political party they support, a public opinion poll of Exacta Research Group shows.

One third of all respondents said that the upcoming European elections in May will be the last time they vote for the party they usually back. These are mainly people aged between 30 and 60 years, educated urban residents living outside the capital city of Sofia.

A total of 22.5% of the respondents said they would support the center-right party Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB), some 18.9% would vote for the Coalition for Bulgaria. If the EU elections were now, 6% will give their vote to the liberal Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS).

The party of the former journalist Nikolay Barekov Bulgaria without Censorship with nationalist party VMRO and ZNS (Agrarian National Union) will be backed by 5.3% of the polled, 5.2% will vote for the Reformist Bloc, 5% - for the former President Georgi Parvanov's ABV movement, 3.4% - for the nationalist party National Front for the Salvation of Bulgaria (NFSB).

Ultra nationalist party Ataka will get the support of 1.9% of the voters, Exacta's survey shows.

Some 57% of respondents do not feel well represented in the current Parliament, and only 30% feel they are politically represented.

The poll was conducted between April 4-10, 2014 in 86 settlements in Bulgaria. The respondents were 1,250 people of legal age.
