Bulgaria: Magnitude 6.2 Earthquake Rocks Chile

An earthquake with a 6.2 magnitude has rocked Chile's northern coastline, but no damage has been reported.

No tsunami warning is to be issued for now, Al Jazeera has reported.

Earlier this week, a 6.7-magnitude earthquake shook Chile’s northern Pacific shore on Sunday, causing the evacuation of more than 100,000 people.

Chile is one of the world's most earthquake-prone countries. In 2010, a quake of 8.8 magnitude followed by a tsunami killed more than 500 people and destroyed 220,000 homes.
