NATO terminates its practical cooperation with Russia, because of the tensions in Ukraine. 

According to NATO's Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, quoted by the Russian wire agency ITAR-TASS, currently NATO is reconsidering its cooperation with Russia. 

“We were planning a joint operation on securing the US ship, on whose board will be destroyed Syria's chemical weapons,” Rasmussen said. “We will guard it, but Russia will not participate.”

Meanwhile, NATO said it will not recognize the referendum in Crimea. According to Rasmussen, it is illegal and anti-constitutional and violates the international treaties.

It is not a question of democracy, it is a question of fighting despotism. Democracies can also be despotic. NATO will do what is in its interest.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

I agree,but there is an un- elected government in Kiev.This government is not elected democraticly by the citizens of Ukraine and should not be supported by any democratic nation,period!

Mr.Rasmussen,the only unconstitutional is the new government in Kiev.Does any one remembers an election in Kiev to make this government legal?
