Ukraine’s presidential candidate and former boxing champion Vitali Klitschko has warned of a humanitarian crisis in Crimea.

Crimea is today on the brink of a humanitarian disaster. The Ukrainian citizens there are left at the mercy of foreign occupiers and local criminals. There is also a risk of ethnic cleansing. Crimean Tatars, ethnic Ukrainians and all patriots of Ukraine are threatened”, Klitschko said after Sunday’s referendum in the autonomous region.

Despite Crimea’s decision to join the Russian Federation, Klitschko has revealed that Kiev does not plan to cut off energy supplies and support to the region, Euronews reports.

The former world heavyweight boxing champion and leading activist in the Maidan protests is tipped by some as one of the favorites to win the presidential elections in May.

O say does that Stalinist banner yet wave,
O'er the land of the unfree and the home of the depraved?

Russian Anthem - 19 Mar 2014 // 22:19:53

Through days dark and stormy where Great Lenin lead us
Our eyes saw the bright sun of freedom above
And Stalin our leader with faith in the people,
Inspired us to build up the land that we love.

Anthem - 19 Mar 2014 // 22:11:57

O thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation.
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the Heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Not much news on the Ukraine and Crimea now. In a week Crimea will be an independent republic in the Russian Federation and it will disappear off the news.

The Ukraine, what next, it becomes a police state managed by a newly recruited milita full of right wing thugs.

Groups like ethnic Russians are likely to be targetted by the Facists seeking refenge on Crimea getting its freedom.

It's more then clear now after more then a week of communist aggression over Ukraine that the same thing is happening as it was with Kennedy - Cuba problem. Same as then obama is letting to putin accomplish his aims, and obama administration is spreading some fake info about economic troubles might happen in the world if sanctions are hard over russia. The truth is that the problem of sanctions will have only russia. With no military intervention or support to Ukraine he accomplish his deal with putin let him do the occupation of Crime. Sure that putin don't like military intervention of international community NATO and EU in Ukraine as he will lose so, the same as was in Cuba, no military intervention with spreading fake info regarding that. And now obama has support from EU parliament leaders, baroso, solana and other group of their players. And putin will wait to see how will world react on all this so to make next moves over, Ukraine, Moldova and some other countries in the region. Same happened with Georgia when bush junior allowed him to accomplish same scenario, and later bush junior allowed obama to win the president elections, so this conspiracy to go on. Well this time this communist mafia is playing with big fire. With all this it's clear that obama is no more the legit president of USA as he is represent and support interest of the communists and putin.

And what were one of the first laws the new rulers in Kiev adopted? Outlaw the Russian language, stop any Russian TV channels, and yesterday they banned Bulgarian as well, as one of the minority languages...

the truth, if you care to dig down in history, you will find that there were actually Bulgarians who also lived in Crimea, but they do not claim it as there native land.

Read this short excerpt from Wikipedia

Since ca. 700 BC, the peninsula has changed hands well over a dozen times, with all or part having been controlled by Cimmerians, Bulgars, Greeks, Scythians, Romans, Goths, Huns, Khazars, Kievan Rus' (the historical precursor to the modern states of Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia[16]), the Byzantine Empire, Venice, Genoa, Kipchaks, the Golden Horde, the Ottoman Empire, the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union, Germany, Ukraine (illegally transfered to it by Khrushchev in 1954 - my comment).
So, as you can see, Crimea's turbulent existence had seen many rulers come and go. By defeating Ottoman Empire , Russia acquired Crimea and for over 200 years the peninsula belonged to Russia. Now it is back to those whom it rightfully belongs.
Oh, I am so sorry that people of Crimea didn't like Ukraine.
Nevertheless, the truth. you have to live up to your name.

The majority has decided.

Any minorities who do not like it should just fuck off.

Plus the ethnic Tatarts didn't vote in the referendum, they should stay quiet and behave or they should just fuck off and not cause trouble in a peaceful Cromea.

the truth - 18 Mar 2014 // 22:32:07

Crimea was already cleansed by Russians in 1940s. All of the ethnic Tatars were exiled to certain death and Russians poured in, and NOW they claim it is their righteous land? Get the hell out of here. Ask the ethnic population what they want - and believe me it is not to be part of a country that once committed genocide on them. Crimea is Ukraine and illegitimate people must move out.

The humanitarian crises and ethnic cleansing will not happen in the Crimea but is happening in the rest of the Ukraine.

Don't worry, Vitali, I'm sure Russia will understand when you send some local self-defence forces to defend Ukrainian nationals, no matter if it is Ukrainian, independent or Russian territory.

Well no one uses the same tactics as US but the puppets of US. Ukrainians are placing the Bandera portraits in their government buildings and whoever wants can check what Bandera was doing to poles, Jews and russians back in ww2

And now when Russians got their vote, they ignored them all this time. Only to now suddenly start writing because now they think Ukrainians will be prosecuted. Well, Russians aren't like them. They can have their fascist government to themselves.
