Bulgaria: Bulgarian, Romanian, US Naval Exercise Starts After Bad Weather Delay USS Truxtun.

The joint naval exercise of US, Bulgarian and Romanian navies in the Black Sea has started, Wednesday.

The military exercise was postponed on Tuesday due to bad weather. The USS Truxtun navy ship, and part of the US Sixth Fleet, together with Bulgarian naval frigate Drazki and three Romanian ships will take part in the drill in the Black Sea, BGNES reports.

The US navy ship sailed into the Black Sea amid growing tensions in Crimea and caused speculations that they are the reason for its visit.

According to the US Navy, however, the joint military exercises in the western part of the Black Sea have been planned well in advance.
