Three New Bulgarian Parties to Enter Euro Parliament - Poll
Six Bulgarian parties would send representatives to the European Parliament after elections on May 25, a fresh poll has shown.
Along with the biggest political powers, center-right opposition GERB (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria) with 16.9%, the ruling Bulgarian Socialist Party with 15.1% and their partners from ethnic Turkish DPS (Movement for Rights and Freedoms) with 6.9%, three smaller entities are also set to win MEP seats, according to the survey by Alpha Research polling center.
These are the Reformist Bloc, a recently forged alliance of right parties (5%), the movement of former President of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov, ABV (Alternative for Bulgarian Renaissance) (6.1%), and the party of a journalist-turned politician Nikolay Barekov, called Bulgaria Without Censorship (5.5%).
If EU elections were now, GERB and BSP would get the biggest share of votes, with respectively 6 and 5 MEPs. DPS would receive 3 MEP seats, and the "new" participants would have one seat each.
Right-wing Ataka and its rival, the National Front for the Salvation of Bulgaria (NFSB), would come as losers out of such a vote, with 2.1% for the once-popular Ataka and 3.2% for NFSB.
Ataka, which now considers itself a balancing power in parliament, suffered a huge blow with the political expansion of NFSB and Bulgaria without Censorship, as well as the multiple scandals surrounding its leader Volen Siderov.
Only 46% of Bulgarians, however, believe in the importance of the upcoming EU elections. A high number of potential "swinging" voters make the space of time until May 25 unpredictable.

After all the scandals involving GERB the ruling regime should ban all the fascist political parties and declare a one party state ahead of the European elections. Nobody in Bulgaria wants these nazi GERB thugs and the sooner they are all arrested and put on trial for the crimes they have committed against the state the better.
It will be interesting to see how the new right wing facist parties do.
I hope tbey do better than this poll suggests as they will take seats away from those lazy cowards who call themselves GERB.
If they start to do this they will fragment the right wing votes in future national elections and become powerless.
