Former Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov believes early elections are likely to be scheduled in the country after the upcoming European elections in May.

Borisov said on Saturday that this scenario would come true if his opposition center-right GERB party fails to win the European elections in Bulgaria.

“I know for sure that, if GERB is not the top political power, early elections will be scheduled immediately,” he told reporters.

Borisov stated that GERB is now “3-4% ahead” of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, adding that the Socialists are “falling apart.”

Bulgaria’s embattled Socialist-led government has so far survived over eight months of relentless, and sometimes massive, anti-corruption protests.

Kiev - the protestors are right wing Facists, Ukraine has not won freedom it is giving power to a loud vicious minority who want to impose their will on the Ukraine.

BRAVO BULGARIA we have dealt with the protestors here and the people elected to govern will serve a full term or they will decide to call elections under Bulgarian Law - the Facist thugs will not decide!!!!!

Bulgaria can beat the Facist thugs and protect democracy.

Yes sensible comments, I hope the Socialists do fantastic in the EU elections and then call Elections to Parliament that some people claim to want and then do well in them.

That would be great results for 2014.

Bulgaria has nothing much to offer to the West so focus on the rest of the world and mainly the emerging markets. And last but not least if you want to stay in power, then STIMULATE the economy and create jobs and prosperity, forget about austerities! - See more at: http://www.rctopshop.com/esky-rc-helicopters

Listen Boyko,

If GERB has the chance to win the elections the best thing will be if you step down and let some younger better-educated people than you run the show. The other major impediment here is if you “corner” Bulgaria again and try to trade only with the West. Let me clarify, Bulgaria has nothing much to offer to the West so
focus on the rest of the world and mainly the emerging markets. And last but not least if you want to stay in power, then STIMULATE the economy and create jobs and prosperity, forget about austerities!

“Give them food and spectacle”, “ Bread and circuses” said by Gaius Julius Caesar
is still reality even until today!
