The road blockade of Bulgaria-Turkey checkpoints by Turkish freight companies is continuing Wednesday.

9-10 km long lines of trucks have formed at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo crossing points.

Cars and buses are however being let through the border, informs the Bulgarian National Radio.

The blockade was staged by Turkish road shipping companies due to a lingering trade dispute with Bulgarian freighters relating to licensing.

Thursday the Bulgarian and Turkish ministers of transportation are set to meet in an effort to resolve the issue.

Tuesday a 39-year-old driver of a truck from Moldova sustained a stroke at the border, and was swiftly transported to the hospital in Yambol in a grave condition.
