Ex Bulgarian Tsar Lists Royal Property for Sale
Bulgaria's former Tsar and Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg and his sister Maria Luisa are selling the royal residence in the town of Banya, near the town of Karlovo in central Bulgaria.
The new was reported Monday by the Bulgarian Trud (Labor) daily.
The property is listed for sale on the website of the Russian real estate company "Rossiyskiy Auktsionnoy Dom" (Russian Auction Home), and its price is EUR 2.5 M. The ad states that a total of 9500 square meters of land with buildings with a total area of 1000 square meters are available for sale. It is noted that the house is a monument of culture and its facade cannot be changed. Listed advantages of the property include the adjacent park whose trees were planted personally by Simeon's father, Tsar Boris III, and the house being located near mineral springs.
The notice further states that the house is habitable, has staff and Simeon visits it often.
Other Bulgarian property is listed on the same Russian site, including part of the assets of the shipyard in Burgas, projects for resorts, as well as a former military airport, according to "Trud"

And................-" In direct proximity to the residence is the winery Rozovaya Dolina, which is famous for once being the supplier of wines to the Politbureau of the Communist Party of the USSR and Leonid Brezhnev personally. It is possible to purchase the winery in addition and 65,000 m2 of land with mineral springs to build balneal hotels or sanatoriums, as part of the assets of the Seller."
Here it is VillaGuy, I just googled it.
Read the blurb in the "About" section of this company.
"The Auction House of the Russian Federation (AHRF) is the first auction marketplace established for sales of private property over the whole territory of Russia. It is the joint project of Sberbank of Russia and Property Fund of Saint-Petersburg OJSC. The Auction House of the Russian Federation OJSC is established according to the direction of the Government of the Russian Federation №1186-р dd. August 19, 2009. The company is public corporation."....................."sales of private property over the whole territory of Russia".......??? Last I heard, was that Banya is in Bulgarian territory, not Russian territory.
This sounds like a huge scam by way of Simeon and his Sister. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I can now clearly see that his allegiance to Bulgaria has been an illusion all along.
OMG, can he do that? I am almost speechless to read this. This is completely wrong. Has the property been listed with a Russian Real Estate Company and in Russia only? And why? This property is significantly historical to Bulgaria and the only right thing to do, is for the State to purchase it and for it rightfully to remain as a part of Bulgaria's National Heritage. This should by no means at all be offered for sale to ANYONE in the private sector. The property should be a National Museum and could very easily be promoted and be a nice little earner as a fantastic tourist hotspot. It is totally disgusting and completely unacceptable that it will be privately owned by anyone. The State gave back to Simeon and his Sister this National property and now they are selling it off privately to make a killing. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!
