The presumed suicide bomber of Sunday’s attack in Volgograd’s train station was a close friend of the bomber from October’s bus explosion.

Oksana Aslanova was preliminarily identified as having carried out the bombing on Sunday, which left at least 14 people dead.

Aslanova was twice married to separatist militants, both of whom were eliminated, according to LifeNews channel. She is also believed to have been a close friend of Naida Asiyalova, who blew herself up on a Volgograd bus in October, killing 6 and injuring 30.

The recurrent terrorist attacks and the seeming link between them sends an alarm to Russian authorities ahead of the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.
