We regard it as our job to be objective in the information we provide and balanced in our assessments and analyses, bearing in mind the importance of keeping a critical distance.
This is the balance that we tried to strike in selecting the nominees in the contest, who have been listed in alphabetical order.
This year we invite you to vote for Bulgaria's "Personality in the News" 2013 in six different categories: Politics; Business; Culture; Sports; Charity and Diplomacy.
The voting will continue until the middle of February 2014, during which time we will take special care to present and promote equally all the nominees through interviews and articles.
The winners will be announced and awarded at a special ceremony, which has already turned into a traditional and cherished event among expats, diplomats and businessmen in Bulgaria and around the world.
