The low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch a new route, between Sofia and Tel Aviv, starting May 2014.
The flights will operate 3 times per week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, reports the daily Dnevnik.
"Our airline believes the new destinations will stimulate the local labor markets and boost tourism", Wizz Air officials said.
Tickets between Sofia and Tel Aviv are already on sale at wizzair.com, starting from BGN 99.99.
This will be the 17th city in 12 countries to which Wizz Air flies from Sofia. Recently, the company announced another new route, Sofia-Malm?, which also starts in 2014.
