Top Diplomat in France: Bulgaria Is Ready for Schengen
Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin has told his French counterpart Laurent Fabius during a meeting in Paris that his country has fulfilled all requirements to join the free Schengen area.
The news was reported by the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry, however, Fabius' position during the conversation remains unclear, as he recently expressed his country's reluctance to accept Bulgaria and Romania in Schengen.
Vigenin has further noted that Bulgaria was applying active effort to integrate its Roma population.
The two have discussed ideas for joint work to solve the problem with Bulgarian Roma in France in the light of the particular sensitivity of the French public regarding the issue.
The Bulgarian Minister has stressed that his Socialist-led government is giving top priority to the direct, close and ongoing strategic partnership with France and to the need to boost political dialogue, trade and French investments in Bulgaria.
Vigenin has further asked French support, within the EU, for Bulgaria to deal with the refugee wave of Syrian nationals in his country.
He thanked Fabius for the voiced readiness to continue to provide expert assistance in all EU issues, including preparations for the Bulgarian presidency in 2018 and for the support in nominating and electing Bulgaria's Irina Bokova for second term as UNESCO Director General.
The French Minister has expressed positive attitude towards invitations extended to him and President Francois Hollande to visit Bulgaria on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the press release further informs.

What a nice day! /~The masterpiece of Fine Anal Arts, indeed,
which clearly shows that there is no need to be a Russian fool, to be Rasputin for being delirious, or, more exact, for being a farting device./
