14 Bulgarian Regions under Code Yellow over Strong Winds
Code yellow has been declared for fourteen Bulgaria regions in Northern Bulgaria Wednesday over the forecast for gusty winds.
The forecast has been issued by the Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, BAS.
Code yellow means potentially dangerous weather, where the forecast is not for unusual meteorological events, but requires people to exercise caution.
It is effective for the regions of Vidin, Vratsa, Montana, Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo,Ruse, Ryrgovishte, Razgrad, Shumen, Silistra, Dobrich and Varna.
Winds are expected to reach a speed of 20-22 m/sec.
The minimum temperatures will be between 7-10 C in the Bulgarian mountain regions to 10-15 C in the rest of the country, while the maximum would reach 18-23C.
