Bulgaria's cabinet chaired by PM Plamen Oresharski must stay in power to continue its efforts against an entrenched oligarchy and pervasive povery, according to socialist MP Yanaki Stoilov.

Stoilov was speaking for Nova TV Tuesday, when anti-government protests in Bulgaria are entering their 46th consecutive day.

"We live in a world with no political comfort," commented the socalist, linking the Bulgarian events to a wave of massive protests rising in different parts across the world.

"Look at Latin America! They have tens of thouands rally there, but they have specific policy demands," said he.

Stoilov was critical of the lack of such demands in Bulgaria.

"When a group of protesters make the resignation of cabinet their only demand, and if cabinet resigns, then the next government cannot hope for a much better fate," argued he.

"This dangerous chaos can repeat itself endlessly," stated Stoilov.

The socialist MP urged for levelheadedness, arguing that politics must involve emotions, but not at the expense of reason.

"We need at least a minimum level of stability, so that the cabinet can effect the radical change people want," added he.

At the time of the May 29 Parliament vote for PM Plamen Oresharski's cabinet on the Bulgarian Socialist Party's mandate, Stoilov vowed that the Socialists' group  in the house will be the government's staunchest critic.

He said that this was not the leftist government he hoped for, but it should be backed for the sake of stability and a revival of the economy.

Faced with ongoing prolonged anti-government demonstrations, socialist MPs have grown more favorable to cabinet.
