Bulgarian Court to Rule in US Extradition Case
A Bulgarian mother of two will hear on Friday the court's ruling on whether to be handed over to US justice and face nearly 70 years in prison.
Bulgaria Court of Appeals released at the beginning of July Gergana Chervenkova on a bail of BGN 1000.
At its Friday’s hearing however the court will have to decide whether to pass Chervenkova to American justice. In the US she may face up to 68 years in prison.
Gergana Chervenkova is facing extradition to the US on allegations of being part of a group for unauthorized online drug trade in her capacity of financial manager for the British company "Euromedonline Ltd."
The US authorities have sent statements, according to which Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents have solid evidence the Bulgarian was involved in the unlawful sale of drugs.
Chervenkova worked in the commercial agency "BG Global Services", which is a service company of "Euromedonline Ltd." Her role was to process weekly reports from the sales system and to calculate the accumulated fees and commissions for doctors and pharmacies based on sales realized through the site. Cherevenkova's responsibilities did not involve selling drugs.
The former Interior Minister from Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) party, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, however, stated Chervenkova was the head of the organized criminal group. He also said that her arrest happened due to good cooperation between Bulgarian and US authorities.
“I'm not afraid because I know I'm innocent. I am just worried about how long it will take and that although I am innocent, I may spend time in detention,” Gergana Chervenkova out on a bail of BGN 1000 said in an interview for 24 Hours daily.
“I do not have a lev saved in my banking account, my husband and I have loans to pay to the bank. We never wanted to be rich in the literal sense, we are blessed by our love and the friends that we have.”
On Friday morning, as her daughter turned seven, Gergana had just one wish – to be with her family and her two kids.

...Begging all those who read "Seedy---sa-sha" dispute pardon, "sa-sha" is forced to....ooh, not to reply to Mr. Seedy, everything related to "Seedies" is clear, "sa-sha" is forced to remark, simply to remark, but to remark a bit hard, may be:
(1)"My comment was directed at you and your whiny appeal to "self-respect"---You, IDIOT, the story is not about sa-sha, but about the destiny of a Bulgarian woman, who has the bad lack to have "Seedies" as сompatriots,"Seedies"-cockroaches, which "self-respect" is strictly bordered and dictated from the overseas.
(2)" Uncle Vlad's..." etc----You, IDIOT again, it's not about Vlad, DO SPIT on HIM, IDIOT, it's -once again- about the destiny of Your compatriot, if You-сука-is Bulgarian, it's about the destiny of Your State, IDIOT.
(3)"a trip to The Hague...for Vlad"---yeah, yeah, that very hague which spits on the Justice and Common Sense while sentencing Serbs and aquitting Croats, and which-at the same time- obediently swallows the heavy spits on itself from USA.
Finally: the Civilised World is the Big Boss' Ass lickers-suckers "seedies"-FREE WORLD. Do not lick-suck, IDIOT, do try to
help that poor woman, if You are Bulgarian, You, кусок говна
You definitely need to start taking those little pills again, Skanky!
My comment was directed at you and your whiny appeal to "self-respect"; Uncle Vlad's unwarranted "self esteem" is so high that he won't extradite the thugs who do his bidding in foreign countries but the case of poor Gergy seems to be very different. On the face of it, unless Uncle Sam can come up with something rather more convincing than what he's apparently managed so far then Gergy should stay in BG....
However, maybe a trip to The Hague would be appropriate for Vlad and his paid assassins - there's no room in the Civilised World for antediluvian nutters who still believe "L'État, c'est moi"....or brown-nosing creeps who try their incomprehensible best to support him.
;-)...is such a "Gibberish Translator" as the Seedies' possible compatriot Angel Zlatanov OK?:
"Put it bluntly, the whole affair suggests that Gergana was just considered "easy prey"; with such high level government officials, [and such wise Seedies] all too willing to "cooperate" [to obey] and issue verdicts [and sell a compatriot] on behalf of the courts in Bulgaria!"
The full text of Angel's comment:
"There's no point in giving you examples because you choose to ignore what goes on under your own nose"---the irresistible HIT
of this extract is, sure: " what goes on under"-admirably well said!
You are Great Expert, Seedy.
Meanwhile the topic is not about Russia, but about Bulgaria, about possible extradition of a Bulgarian Citizen, about the natural feeling of the Self-Dignity of the Nation. Not a case for You (and those alike), Seedy?
Seedy &Co, You are ready to "pay tax"-by Your citizens, by the obedient behaviour-to Big Chief?................... Seedies and misera contribuens plebs [the poor tax-paying people]: suddenly discovered synonyms. Eureka.
It's the heat, Slooshy - "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink". There's no point in giving you examples because you choose to ignore what goes on under your own nose - Uncle Vlad has washed whatever it is that passes as a brain in your poor uncomprehending noggin.....
"Russian Federation" (of Vassal States) - Agents who carry out murders etc on the streets of democratic (does that word even exist in Russian?) countries"-----Triumph of Delirium...Well, I don't ask the author to submit the names of "agents" and the facts of "murders", it's sensless: obviously an insidious "Russian Federation" Agent had time to treat poor Seedy to vodka ;-)
As for "preaching to others"---I'm not the USA' official, such as, say, Marcie Berman Ries...
Finally, what if to get Your own brain's odds and ends in order,
Seedy-Speedy, "before you start".....though "the mission" seems to be Impossible.
This is in keeping with Uncle Vlad's policy of not allowing the extradition of Soviet - sorry, I mean "Russian Federation" (of Vassal States) - Agents who carry out murders etc on the streets of democratic (does that word even exist in Russian?) countries.
Better get your own house in order, Slasher, before you start preaching to others......
"Gergana Chervenkova is facing extradition to the US on allegations..."-----Why? If Gerdana is the Bg citizen, then it's up to
Bulgaria to decide her destiny (with full respect to the US Justice ;-) and on the basis of the evidences submitted by the latter) without the above-shameful and humiliating-extradition. Merely
imagine the USA' reaction if, say, Bulgaria demands from them the extradition of the US' citizen "Gerry Cherry".....The whole
story is about the Self-Respect. And hopefully not all Bulgarians are ready to follow Mr.Tsvetan Tsvetanov' example who-de facto-
laid down under the USA, a true friend of a true democracy...
