Winter Tourism: 1.8 Million Visit Bulgaria
Bulgaria has witnessed a bustling winter tourism season, with a total of 1.8 million tourists gracing its picturesque landscapes from December 1 to March 25
Bulgaria’s tour operator Balkan Holidays will be launching flights from Southend Airport next year.
The company will flying from Southend to Burgas as part of its 2014 summer program, offering departures on selected dates in May and September.
Alastair Welch, Southend Airport’s managing director, said: “Balkan Holidays fly state-of-the-art Airbus A320 aircraft, so passengers will arrive in Burgas fresh and relaxed having enjoyed all the creature comforts these planes offer.”
Balkan Holidays is offering six destinations from the Burgas area, including a coach tour for those who want to explore the country’s history and wine-producing regions.
