Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov cruised past Italian Simone Bolleli to reach the second round of the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament on Tuesday.
Dimitrov, 22, defeated his opponent in straight sets 6-1, 6-4, 6-3.
The Bulgarian was in full control from the word go as he took the first set 6-1 in just 17 minutes. He broke his opponent two times on his way to winning first set.
Dimitrov was also very strong on his serve in the second set as he did not face a break point in the whole set and a single break of serve was enough to give him the set 6-4 in 37 minutes.
Like the second set, Dimitrov again did not face any break point in the third set and broke Bolelli twice to take the set 6-3 and proceed into the next round after 1 hour and 22 minutes, Tennis World informs.
