Bulgargaz Files Incremental Decrease of Gas Price in Bulgaria

Chief Bulgarian home natural gas distributor Bulgargaz has filed an application for a 0.15% decrease of the prices of natural gas with the national energy regulator.

The price asked by Bulgargaz is BGN 630 per 1,000 cub.m., or BGN 0.94 less than the price for the last pricing period.

In past weeks, both Bulgargaz and the State Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (DKEVR) had stated that the price of gas will not increase in the next period, which begins July 1.

The price of natural gas dropped with 9.8% January 1, after which - with 3.89% April 1.
