Bulgaria's ruling Socialist Party will develop a package of measures to restore social justice and boost the economy of the country, announced socialist MP Yanaki Stoilov.

According to the socialist, key among those policies will be formulated in new amendments to the Law on the Stimulation of Employment.

"We will give a better oportunity for young people to find jobs or additional training," said Stoilov at a press event Tuesday.

According to the measures envisioned, the state will develop programs to financially support employers who hire young new workers.

Among other socially-oriented policies mentioned by Stoilov are stricter measures for enforcing the payment of salaries to workers.

The socialist MP also said that he hopes that cabinet will swiftly increase payments to mothers with young, so that the new values be effective starting July 1.

Bulgaria's new cabinet, led by former FinMin Plamen Oresharski (2005-9) was elected last Wednesday on the mandate of the Bulgarian Socialist Party.

It was supported by liberal Movement for Rights and Freedoms, and voted "against" by former ruling center-right GERB party, while fourth remaining parliamentary party, nationalists Ataka, abstained.
