Bulgaria: Police Uses Teargas on Anti-Erdogan Protesters in Ankara Photo of Sunday's protest in Ankara by WorldBulletin.net

Turkish police has once again resorted to the use of tear gas, as protesters marched Sunday evening on to the offices of PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara.

This is the third day in a row of a wave of massive protests that started Friday in Istanbul Teksim square.

Discontent erupted as police brutally crushed a protest encampment to preserve the Gezi park from development.

Protesters flooded Istanbul and other large cities, including capital Ankara, raising slogans against what they called the oppresive regime of PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Erdogan has admitted the use of police force in the past days was "excessive," but has also labeled protesters "extremists."
